Being one of the most sought-after installation companies with a strong industry presence and a positive reputation, we are growing There is an abundance of steady work in British Columbia and we are willing to help permanently relocate ticketed fitters to be able to fill the need **The Perks** - Comprehensive extended health & dental benefits - Competitive compensation packages - Regular, company-wide events - Plenty of room for growth within the company - Work is available is throughout the Lower Mainland and we aim to keep you working close to home (as much as possible) **The Opening(s)** - **Sprinkler Fitters **- Ticketed Installers with experience on commercial and multi-unit residential projects (a background working in the industry), and are possibly even working towards leading their own crew **The Basic Responsibilities** - Mentor and train apprentices / entry-level fitters to enhance their learning and understanding. - Provide clear direction and instructions for members of your crew. - Safely operate power tools, pipe threaders, pipe cutters, groovers and core drills. - Effectively analyze and interpret sprinkler system blueprints. - Problem-solve and maintain all applicable documentation for work being completed. - Independent installation of BlazeMaster and steel pipe (and sprinkler heads). - Communicate with the office as needed for documentation, coaching, feedback, etc. - Ensure the adherence of all site-safety polices as well as EFP policies when working. - Other duties as assigned. **The Qualifications** - Valid driver’s license and reliable means of transportation OR access and willingness to take transit to job sites **The Hours of Work** - Full-Time, Permanent - Monday to Friday - 8-hour shifts - Please note that compensation is dependent on experience._ **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent **Salary**: From $40.00 per hour **Benefits**: - Casual dress - Company events - Dental care - Extended health care - Paid time off - Tuition reimbursement - Vision care Flexible Language Requirement: - French not required Schedule: - 8 hour shift - Day shift - Monday to Friday - No weekends - Overtime Supplemental pay types: - Overtime pay Application question(s): - Please answer "yes" to acknowledge that you are aware that the job opening is in Vancouver, BC. - Please describe your experience with Blazemaster and steel pipe.
