Overview:
Reporting to the Manager of Projects and Processes for North America, the H2R User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Specialist will perform user acceptance testing to evaluate business test scenarios based on data change form (DCF) requirements. This specialist will role ensure payroll and business process are incorporated in UAT steps.

**Responsibilities**:
**Safety**:

- Demonstrates a commitment to a safe work environment.
- Understands the organization’s safety objectives and visibly support these efforts by adhering to safety policies, taking ownership for ensuring a safe workplace, ensuring departmental representation on the Health & Safety Committee, and demonstrating support to organizational safety initiatives.

**User Acceptance Testing**:

- Partners with HR, Labor Relations and the ADC team to perform user acceptance testing to evaluate business test scenarios based on data change form (DCF) requirements.
- Coordinates with pay agents to ensure payroll and business processes are incorporated into the UAT steps.
- Reviews the SAP ERP functionality and interfaces considering the unique attributes of the US and Canadian payroll cycles, including taxes and deductions/benefits, as well as the unique attributes of hourly, salaried and executive deduction cycles.
- Responsible for development and management of test strategies, test plans, test script development and coordinating test execution and defect tracking - while working with testing lead. Ensures payroll tests are conducted and acceptable by internal and external stakeholders.
- Effectively prioritizes and manages weekly testing targets and status reporting to testing lead.
- Defines and manages the deliverables of the functional team to meet engagement objectives and UAT time lines

**Data Management**

- Assists with data conversions, field mapping, translations/transformation logic.
- Ensure accurate data is maintained in the system.
- Successful management of end to end disability leaves with vendor, employee and field HR and, where applicable, FMLA leaves

**Data Audit**:

- Performs audit of current configuration from time entry, time evaluation to payroll results to ensure system calculation is in line with collective barraging agreements

**Relationship Management**:

- Builds and maintains relationships with key executives, business personnel,
- SME and a network of professional organizations or affiliations.
- Understands configuration requirement to meet customer needs while providing best practice guidance on customer process

- ABS coordinator & team supervisors/seniors
- Country and Central HR employees

**Specific Accountabilities**:

- Evaluation of business test scenarios based on data change requests
- Timely resolution of escalated and/or sensitive employee issues
- Supports data conversions, field mapping, translations and transformation logic
- Audit current configurations to ensure correct system calculations
- Prompt, courteous and accurate responses to inquiries
- Ensures service and processing standards are adhered to
- Support internal controls by providing reasonable assurance of effective and efficient operations, including actions to prevent and detect fraud and protect company resources.

Qualifications:
**Education and Experience**:

- Undergraduate or College degree in Business, HR or related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Time management, Payroll and Union Benefit Administration
- Experience in a multi-union and multi-province (CAN) OR multi-state (US) organizations
- Experience with Success Factor and SAP, SAP-CATS, MDM and payroll process
- Experience in agency payroll audit.
- Experience with LafargeHolcim benefit plans, MDM and payroll processing a definite asset

**Knowledge and Skills**:

- In depth understanding of provincial employment standards
- Understanding of union contracts.
- Solid understanding of time management including shift and premiums.
- Competency in Payroll processing or mylife activities with a desire and the ability to learn both
- Customer focused approach with excellent organization, interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent computer skills, SAP & Microsoft Office Suite
- Good knowledge of HRIS or payroll system(s), and call center software a plus.
- Good understand
