**Objectives of this Role**
- Assisting project managers with daily tasks
- Oversee and coordinate day to day project operations

**Daily and Monthly Responsibilities**
- Assist with preparation of plans and specifications, tender and contract documents and cost proposals.
- Coordinate and oversee building assessments, mostly roofing and cladding
- Coordinate and oversee leak investigations to identify problems and determine repair options.
- Coordinate and oversee Quality Assurance reviews on new construction and renovation projects to ensure compliance with Contract Documents and Manufacturer requirements.
- Perform Contract Administration tasks including preparation of Tender Documents, Contract Documents, review of Progress billing, Change Order requests, RFI and other tasks.
- Adhere to company and client safety practices and policies at all times.
- Must be capable of working independently without supervision and be able to prioritize competing workloads

**Skills and Qualifications**

This is a junior position, requiring some knowledge and skills within our field, with management and supervision to support the applicant’s growth
- Knowledge of Ontario Building Code and commercial construction practices, particularly roofing and cladding.
- Ability to quickly identify and understand constructability issues and conflicts.
- Physical ability to access construction sites - uneven ground, trenches, ladders.
- Excellent communication skills including strong verbal, written skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- University degree in Civil Engineering considered an asset
- CTech or CET
- Licensed with PEO, or ability to be licensed in near future considered an asset
- Field experience in commercial construction (min 1 year)
- Valid Driver’s licence
