**The Role**: IT Technician

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage all on-site internet infrastructure, network systems, and account setups for tenants and building services
- Oversee and execute fiber optic cabling and terminations from building communication rooms to individual units across multiple floors
- Install, configure, and maintain IP-based camera systems, NVRs, and network security infrastructure
- Support IT hardware/software inventory, structured file organization, and user access management
- Ensure secure connectivity and compliance for systems used in smart metering, building automation, and tenant communications
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve network and system-related issues quickly and efficiently
- Liaise with ISPs and contractors for escalations, new installations, or upgrades
- Provide technical input for planning and executing digital system rollouts in new development phases

**Required Skills & Experience**:

- Proven experience with fiber optics systems, particularly in high-rise infrastructure (from main comm rooms to floor units)
- Strong understanding of LAN/WAN, structured cabling, patch panel management, and wireless systems
- Familiarity with metering systems (electricity, water, gas) and smart building technologies is highly preferred
- Hands-on experience with security camera systems (CCTV/IP-based), access control integrations, and remote monitoring tools
- Solid problem-solving skills with the ability to manage IT logistics in fast-paced environments
- Technical diploma or degree in Information Technology, Network Systems, Telecommunications, or a related field
- Certification in fiber optics (e.g., FOA) or networking (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA) is an asset
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude
- Experience managing company computing systems, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of both hardware and software

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
