Composite / Fiberglass Technician

**Composites/Fiberglass Technician** required for full time position in Surrey, BC.

Experience with vacuum resin infusion process in addition to the standard hand lamination techniques will be considered an asset.

Salary is based on experience ranging from: $20-30/hr. Full benefits package after 3-months including: medical, dental and disability.

Typical job duties in the local shop include:

- Participate in all regular activities related to the manufacturing of composite parts using both regular hand lamination and vacuum infusion techniques: cutting lists and fabric preparation, core fitting, bagging and plumbing layout, vacuum integrity checks and final infusion.
- Trimming, drilling and preparation of completed parts for assembly.
- Assist with resin promotion and gel testing for infusion.
- Assist with generation of infusion reports and other required quality control documents.
- Installation, bonding and glassing of main structural components such as: bulkheads, partitions, machinery pads and others.
- Position to be fulfilled immediately.
