**Program Manager**

Reporting to the CEO, the Program Manager supports the operational management of the organization’s programs including planning, budgeting, and allocating work. Within a business, the Program Manager will determine how their specific program is performing and how it can be improved. Their responsibilities include meeting with Project Managers and Team Leads to ensure all of the projects that make up the program are running successfully. They are responsible for ensuring any problems that arise within the program are addressed and dealt with. The role requires strong leadership skills, communication, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to make decisions that impact the program's success. The Program Manager is accountable for ensuring that the program meets its objectives, delivers value to the organization and stakeholders, and is delivered within the specified timeline and budget.

**Responsibilities**
- Developing and managing the program's budget, timeline, and resources
- Aligning program goals with the organization's overall strategy and objectives
- Leading cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver the program successfully
- Defining and communicating project goals, requirements, and expectations to all stakeholders
- Identifying and managing program risks and dependencies
- Monitoring progress, tracking performance, and adjusting as needed to ensure successful delivery
- Facilitating communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders
- Ensuring that the program is delivered within scope, on-time, and within budget
- Overseeing the implementation of program changes and updates
- Reporting program status, progress, and outcomes to senior management
- Managing relationships with external partners, vendors, and stakeholders as needed
- Conducting regular reviews and assessments to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations

**Qualifications, Skills & Abilities**
- Effective leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to command respect and to create a sense of community amongst the members of the project teams
- Good knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling programs
- Sound _business case_ development and approvals skills
- Good understanding of the procurement process including negotiation with third parties
- Good knowledge of program and project management methods including MSP and _PRINCE2_
- Good knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures
- Sufficient seniority and credibility to advise project teams on their projects in relation to the program
- Ability to find ways of solving or pre-empting problems
- Highly organized with ability to multi-task
- Bachelor's or master's degree or equivalent experience as Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.

**Salary**: $85,000.00-$130,000.00 per year

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Project management: 5 years (required)
