Currently we are hiring **Gas Testers / Air Quality Technicians** for projects in **Skookumchuck**, located in BC. Applicants must be physically capable of performing labour and standing for long periods.

**Qualifications**:

- 1-2 years of experience as a Gas Tester / Air Quality Technician
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Must speak and write English clearly and fluently
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Project work and labour experience is an asset
- Must be physically capable of standing for long periods and performing light labour tasks if required
- Must have a personal cellphone as well as basic computer knowledge
- Must successfully complete internal training, as required
- Must provide own ankle covering steel toed boots
- Having reliable transportation to get to and from site is an asset
- *Valid OFA 1 or equipment operator certificate considered an asset but not required

**Responsibilities**:

- Participate in all pre-job and daily tailgate meetings
- Monitor atmospheric air quality using electronic gas monitor devices
- Wear a respirator protection mask where necessary
- Assess and communicate all hazards and conditions involved in the work site with Supervisor
- Operate a radio to communicate as required
- Complete all necessary logs and paperwork as required

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

**Salary**: $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
