Courtyard Prince George is recruiting for a part-time Room Attendant to join our growing team The role of Room Attendant is responsible for the cleanliness of all guest rooms and public areas of the hotel. If you are enthusiastic, guest focused and have a passion for cleaning, this could be your opportunity to be part of the Courtyard team

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Clean guest rooms and replenish amenities and linen
- Making beds, wiping windows and dusting shelves, furniture and artwork
- Clean bathrooms, including the bathtub, walls, mirror, shelves, floors, and sink
- Remove garbage, clean garbage cans and remove dirty linens
- Vacuum and mopping
- Conducts daily inspections of guest rooms and reports and deficiencies to Executive Housekeeper or Maintenance
- Commitment to work safely and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Follow daily checklist
- Additional duties as assigned by Executive Housekeeper, Housekeeping Supervisor(s) or other Management

**QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS**:

- Previous cleaning experience is an asset
- Proven cleaning ability with an attention to detail
- Approachable, pleasant, polite, fast
- Able to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Self-starter and able to work with minimum supervision
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including the ability to lift, push and pull up to 50lbs, standing/walking for extended periods of time, ability to stoop, kneel and reach and perform repetitive motions
- Must be able to understand both oral and written English

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 24-32 per week
