**GENERAL LABOURER - PRODUCTION AND MOSS DESIGN**

This position is an exciting opportunity for a General Labourer to join our growing team at Ayrsonics, working primarily in generating high performance acoustic products which address sound attenuation issues. The General Labourer’s main responsibility is to assist with all product assembly and packaging in accordance with the quality standards of the company. This individual follows operational processes, schedules, is team-oriented, and has initiative. Strong attention to detail, excellent time management, problem solving, and sensitivity to deadlines is a must.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Assist with the assembly and labeling of the products as required, including the safe use of power tools.
- Assist in the review of moss design plans, ensuring all required information is available for product creation.
- Assist with packaging of the finished product as required.
- Inspect the quality of raw materials as they are allocated for projects to ensure the product meets Ayrsonics standards.
- Review the quality of the assembled products prior to packaging. This includes inspecting all pieces for damage or incorrect assembly.
- Verify all products and hardware are included in the packaging.
- Attach all necessary installation and location drawings on the product packaging.
- Measure packaged products, for freight scheduling purposes.
- Keep work area clean and tidy, within the production area.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards, procedures, and legal regulations.

**Secondary Responsibilities**:

- Review the quality of the packaging of the product.
- Request tools and supplies to the Supervisor as needed.
- Assist in the ongoing development of assembly methods, for improved efficiency and accuracy.
- Perform additional assignments per management’s direction.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Must be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously with a demonstrated ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to interpret shop drawings and artistic design drawings, to replicate onto the finished product.
- Able to lift up to 25kg.
- Able to work full time hours with occasional evening and weekend overtime.
- Comfortable working with hand-held power tools, including drills, glue guns, tape guns.
- Organization skills and attention to fine detail, to ensure quality and detail of finished product is met.
- Able to communicate effectively within a team work environment, collaborating with a positive attitude.

**Experience**:

- Previous work in a production environment is considered an asset.
