Economy Paving is now hiring a Class 1 Truck Driver

**Summary**

As a Class 1 Dump Truck Driver, you will be responsible for operating heavy-duty trucks to transport materials for paving projects. Reporting to the site supervisor, your role is vital in ensuring timely and safe delivery of materials. Core skills in commercial driving are essential, while premium skills in forklift operation and freight handling will enhance your efficiency. Additionally, your relevant skills in heavy equipment operation and automotive repair will contribute to the smooth operation of our fleet. **Responsibilities**
- Operate Class 1 dump trucks to transport materials for paving projects safely and efficiently.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in optimal working condition.
- Load and unload materials, adhering to safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate delivery schedules and site requirements.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and materials transported.
- Perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance on the vehicle as needed.

*Minimum of 3 year experience in the paving industry.
*Willing to work long hours when required.
*Must have own transportation.

*Must be able to drive manual

What we provide:
Excellent wages, supportive team environment, opportunity to work throughout the winter as well.

Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 70 per week

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
