**Psychotherapist/Social Worker - Part Time Contract**

**Rate**: $28 - 40 per hour, 20 - 30 hours a week

**Start Date**: May 1

We are seeking a part time contract Psychotherapist/Social Worker to support patients enrolled in our prescription Weight Loss program.

The pay range for this role is $28 - 40 per hour and will depend on how closely your experience and qualifications match with what we're looking for. This is a role that is flexible and remote.

You’ll report into our Medical Director, and will primarily work with the Weight Loss team, consisting of a Registered Dietitian, Virtual Care Coordinators, Nurse Practitioners, and Registered Kinesologist, as well as working closely with a cross functional team of marketing, customer experience, and pharmacy.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

- Completing intake assessments to understand the mental health needs of clients
- Refer clients to appropriate health professionals for health, nutrition, or fitness related concerns
- Create client resources and written materials to support their health journey
- Creation of standardized questionnaires and processes to support the mental health aspects of the program
- Work with the interprofessional team to help develop a holistic treatment plan for clients
- Create and facilitate group sessions for clients
- Maintaining a high level of professional decorum in your approach, communications and engagement with your patients
- RSW or RP required
- Registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers, College of Registered Psychotherapist of Ontario, or British Columbia College of Social Workers (required)
- Certifications in CBT, DBT, or solution-focused therapy considered an asset
- Registration in another province considered a strong asset
- Willingness to register in another province considered an asset
- Virtual, call center, and/or telehealth experience considered an asset
- Sales related experience an asset
- An energetic doer who can leverage information and proactively engage with a wide array of patients
- Proactive, highly collaborative and supportive team player
- Experience in the healthcare and/or innovation sectors considered a strong asset
