**Job Description**:
Reporting directly to the Chief Venues and Operations Officer, the Vice President will act as a strategic partner and bring a clear path forward regarding the current and future requirements of our evolving MLSE venues. This role will take ownership of 11 separate facilities across over one million square feet of real estate including leased facilities. The Vice President will also assume responsibility for the significant investment being made in the Scotiabank Arena Reimagination Project that is in process along with the BMO Field expansion in preparation for FIFA 2026.

The Vice President will be accountable for significant annual operating and capital budgets. They will develop, oversee, and drive the implementation of sustainable venues master planning, design and construction, strategic land use planning, and long and short-term capital project delivery at each of MLSE’s venues. The scope of this position encompasses the areas of building/venue design and construction, normal course capital planning and delivery, asset tracking and management to include all capital projects, asset replacement, major repair, facility engineering and utilities management.

**Qualifications**:
In addition to the following experience, this role requires a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction, Project Management, Business Management or related field of study. Along with a minimum of 10 years executive level project management, venue construction/redesign, facility management or related field with experience gained primarily within large, complex organizations. Sports / Hospitality / Entertainment industry experience is considered an asset.
- Has been a key member of a leadership team with demonstrated experience developing a vision and long-term strategic plan and has implemented and operationalized annual plans that support objectives.
- Strong technical, operational and project management expertise with proven track record of delivering construction and major renovation projects on time and within budget.
- Direct experience in cost estimation and negotiating, managing substantial budgets, the lifecycle of complex large scale multi-million-dollar construction projects, capital programs, and multiple venues/facilities.
- Extensive knowledge of capital planning, financial planning, land-use planning, and master planning.
- Experience in building operations and engineering and sustainability. Excellent theoretical and practical knowledge of design, and construction engineering concepts.
- A decisive businessperson who can deal with operating and tactical matters while focusing on longer term strategic objectives.
- Has built a winning culture, developed strong teams and implemented structure and processes to achieve an efficient, effective and high performing organization.
- An exceptional relationship builder that has worked effectively with and managed a diverse group of stakeholders with competing priorities.
