**Hiring: Shipping Assistant**

**Hours**: Part-Time, Year-round, 5 hours per day

**Ideal Shift Times**: 7:30am - 12:30pm or 8am - 1pm (start time is flexible but cannot be past 9:30 am).

**Ideal Dates**: We’re looking to have coverage for the specific dates listed in this document:
Starting in September, this position will shift to a consistent schedule on Tuesday and Thursday mornings.

**Please note**:we are **not** looking to fill evening or weekend shifts at this time.

**Location**: In Person - 290 Main Street, Niverville, Manitoba

**Compensation**: Starting at $16/hour

SOAK Bath Co is an all-natural, handmade bath and body brand based in Niverville, Manitoba. We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Shipping Assistant to join our team to pack orders + prep our product to ship to our incredible shoppers

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate daily shipping activities, including order processing, packaging, labelling and dispatching of products
- Prepare shipping documents, such as packing slips, invoices and shipping labels, ensuring accuracy and compliance with shipping regulations
- Ensure proper handling and storage of products to maintain their quality and integrity during the shipping process
- Navigate software to schedule pickups with our shipping carriers
- General administrative duties required to fulfill orders, create invoices and follow up on payments
- Extensive work within Quickbooks, Shopify, Google Drive (Google Sheets, Google Docs especially) and various Shipping Software
- Product labelling: soap labelling as needed, general product packaging
- General clean up of workstation and pitching in on dishes clean up as needed

**Requirements**:

- This position is year round
- This position requires physical strength, you will be lifting 30 - 40 pounds of product - if you'd like to build arm + leg strength, this is the perfect opportunity to build it while you work
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on, our orders can get heavy Save on your gym membership
- Age 16+ and have reliable transportation to arrive at work

- Ability to work quickly and efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
- Comfortable working in an ever-changing environment, we are a small business therefore hours and duties will fluctuate with business needs.

- Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods of time
