We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Shuttle Bus Driver to join our team on a casual permanent contract basis. The Shuttle Bus Driver will be responsible for safely transporting passengers along designated routes, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of the shuttle bus.

**Responsibilities**:

- Safely operate a shuttle bus along designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Provide excellent customer service to passengers, including assisting with boarding and disembarking, answering questions, and addressing passenger concerns
- Maintain a clean and presentable shuttle bus, including regular cleaning and sanitization of passenger areas
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the shuttle bus to ensure safety and proper functioning
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and supervisors to report any issues or incidents during shifts
- Adhere to schedules and timetables, ensuring on-time arrival and departure at designated stops
- Handle passenger payments and maintain accurate records of fares collected, if applicable

**Requirements**:

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a bus driver or shuttle bus driver preferred
- Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed
- Physical ability to perform duties such as sitting for extended periods, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds
- Clean Criminal Record upon hiring

**Hours of Work**
- The hours of work for this position will vary depending on operational requirements but will include day, evening and late night, as well as weekends and holidays.
