**Job Title**: Cook / Kitchen Helper

**Job Summary**
- Seasons and cooks food according to recipes and food safety standards.
- Ensures freshness of food and ingredients by checking their quality, keeping track of old and new items, and rotating stock.
- Inspects and cleans food preparation and serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices.
- Observes and test foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently.
- Washes, peels, cuts, and seeds fruits and vegetables to prepare them for consumption.
- Cleans and maintains kitchen work areas, restaurant equipment, and utensils.
- Washes dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans by hand or using dishwashers.
- Performs other related duties as needed.

**Job Qualifications**
- Cooking Experience: 1 year or more(preferred)
- Food Safety/Handler Certification (NS)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $15.20 per hour

Licence/Certification:

- Food Handler Certification (required)
