**Outcomes - **What success looks like,

**First 3-6 months**
- a)_ _Improve the accuracy of data reporting of direct labour utilization to improve the analysis of estimated hours to actual. _**KPI - **_Direct labour utilization by work centre, targets established and monitored._
- b)_ _Lead 5S re
- implementation across all manufacturing work cells _**KPI- **_Achieve level 4 to audit score_
- c)_ _Establish the groundwork for Lean Manufacturing implementation focusing on a single piece flow cell methodology _**KPI-**_Training deployed_
- d)_ _Assess skills and training requirements across manufacturing _**KPI- **_Requirements defined &training plan in place._

**By 12 months**
- a)_ _Drive manufacturing quality improvement initiatives to reduce COPQ and NCR’s, _**KPI - **_Measured as a percentage of sales revenue_
- b)_ _Improve On Time customer Delivery performance via improved workflow planning _**KPI- **_Achieve 99% OTD performance_
- c)_ _Reduce manufacturing cycle time by 20% _**KPI-**_ _Achieve a 20% reduction in days._
- d)_ _Improve labour productivity _**KPI-**_Direct labour utilization to increased to 90%_
- e)_ _Reduce of customer identified NCR’s_ **KPI- **_Reduction of 50%_
- f)_ _Develop and implement a fast-track Prototyping process to improve customer responsiveness. _**KPI-**_ _Developed and implemented with 10-day turnaround on prototypes._

**TOP 6 Responsibilities**
- Manage Workflow_
- Working with engineering participation in developing and implementing manufacturing process enhancements. Establish deadlines per department and coach departmental supervisors on managing schedules to ensure 100% on time execution of production schedules, and the efficient balancing of capital and people resources. and lead time reduction strategies to improve customer delivery performance._

- Quality_
- Oversee the implementation of corrective actions based on route cause analysis specific to manufacturing operations & departments to drive down the Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ)._
- Customer Satisfaction_
- Instill and drive a customer centric focussed culture across the manufacturing team with an emphasis on our customer expectations for quality, on time delivery performance and responsiveness to change requests._
- Implementing new initiatives_
- Assess current processes and implement changes that supports the migration to a lean manufacturing environment. Identify training needs and drive cross training initiatives to increase manufacturing flexibility and responsiveness. In conjunction with People Support ensure certifications and recurrency training is maintained._
- Technology_
- Remain abreast of current technologies and assess and recommend new capital equipment acquisitions supported by ROI analysis to improve operational efficiencies and increase customer satisfaction. Oversee preventative maintenance schedules, manage, and evaluate machine resources to ensure productivity and mínimal downtime. Manage the repair and routine preventative maintenance of production equipment as per OEM specifications and internal schedules._
