Kennel Attendant

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Kennel Assistant. As a Kennel Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing care and support for our furry friends. This is a paid position with opportunities for growth and development.

**Duties**:

- Provide exceptional customer service to pet owners
- Assist with the feeding, grooming, and exercise of animals
- Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and common areas
- Monitor the health and well-being of animals
- Administer medications as directed by veterinarians
- Assist with bathing and grooming of animals
- Perform heavy lifting tasks as needed

**Skills**:

- Strong customer service skills to interact with pet owners
- Ability to handle and restrain animals safely and gently
- Knowledge of basic animal care and behavior
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and standing for long periods

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $15.00-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 44 per week
