The Aircraft Parts Cleaner (also known as Process Cleaner) is responsible for carrying out parts cleaning with a variety of cleaning techniques using chemical methods or manual polishing process. Typical duties and responsibilities include following instructions from various sources, using testing and measuring equipment to carry out work, recognizing and reporting defects on parts, and performing preliminary inspections.

**TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
1. Performs manual or machine-assisted cleaning of parts throughout the repair and overhaul cycle.

2. Typical tasks include, but are not limited to, the following:
a. Engine Cleaning

b. Parts Washing

c. Plastic beading

d. Flushing

e. Vibratory cleaning

f. Chemical stripping

g. Dry/wet abrasive grit blasting

3. Performs concentration checks on tank solutions

4. Performs shop practice audits to ensure cleaning line is audit compliant, clean and organized.

**SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Must have a minimum grade 12 education
- Preferably have completed Grade 12 Chemistry
- Able to interpret technical instructions
- Must possess good interpersonal skills, organizational skills and cooperates well with others
- Able to perform work on computer systems
- Must possess advanced mechanical aptitude in completing their tasks
- Must be able to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing
- Must possess good eye sight for inspecting parts and depth perception when using overhead cranes
- Will be open to working in a graveyard shift

**Must be authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship. Official Social Insurance Number documentation must be presented at interview.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $25.92-$29.01 per hour
