Are you interested in the possibility of becoming a HD mechanic? We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic independent worker with an interest in (aptitude for) growing into a journeyman mechanic role. Your duties will begin with running the wash bay, moving trucks & trailers in and out of the shop, shop clean up, and helping technicians. Should you prove to meet expectations and maintain a positive attitude, you will be financially supported through the Heavy Duty Apprenticeship program.

**Responsibilities**
- Cleaning trucks and trailers by washing exterior and completing some general interior cleaning
- Maintaining the shop and yard by: picking up miscellaneous litter, emptying garbage cans, shoveling sidewalks/doors in winter, cutting grass in the summer, washing of bay doors and windows, and the disposal of pallets.
- Move or deliver units between shop and customers.

**Requirements**:

- High mechanical aptitude
- Self-starter attitude
- Interest in pursuing a career in Heavy Duty Mechanics
- Vehicle cleaning or detailing experience preferred
- City delivery experience preferred (3 to 5 ton truck)
- Class 5 (to deliver units to customers within city limits)
- Customer service focused
- Ability to endure repetitive and routine duties
- Shows attention to detail, initiative, and diligence
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of people
- Exhibits strong safe driving practices
- Able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds without assistance
- Able to work independently with little supervision
- Ability to be exposed to weather conditions off/on throughout the day, year-round

**Hours**:

- Monday through Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Occasional weekends as required.
