**Schedule Details**
- Monday to Sunday Availability
- Shifts vary between 7:00 a.m. till 9:15 p.m.
- Mornings, Mid-day, Evenings and Weekends Required

**What You'll Be Doing**
- Collecting used kitchenware from the workstations and kitchen areas.
- Loading and unloading dishwashing machines.
- Hand-washing specific items (for example, wooden cutting boards, large pots, etc.).
- Storing cleaned kitchenware, baking pans, pots, and equipment appropriately.
- Setting up workstations before meal prep begins.
- Ensuring there are always enough clean pots, pans, and cooking/serving utensils, especially during peak hours.
- Maintaining cleaning supplies in stock (e.g., detergents) and placing orders when necessary.
- Checking washing machines operation and promptly reporting any technical/performance issues.
- Removing garbage regularly.
- Sanitizing the kitchen area, including the floor.
- Adhering to all appropriate workplace regulations, compliances, and legislation regarding health and safety, food preparation standards, and company policies and procedures.
- Be continually aware of, and maintain, the highest standards of professionalism.
- Maintaining a professional appearance, demeanor, and attitude at all times.
- Protecting the health and safety of others by adopting safe work practices and reporting unsafe conditions immediately.
- Greeting customers with a smile and answering their questions as required.
- Maintaining familiarity with the composition of all menu items.
- Ensuring all kitchen equipment and tools are being used safely and according to provided directions.
- Ensuring food is handled, stored, and cooked according to health and safety standards and that proper cleanup occurs to meet health regulations.
- Cleaning agreed-upon designated areas in accordance with laid-down procedures, morning or evening routines, and hygiene requirements.
- Cleaning and setting tables according to established standards, ensuring that all items used are clean, undamaged, and in a good state of repair.
- Assisting in other areas as needed during peak times.
- Helping to raise the standards within the department and bring new concepts forth.
- Other duties as required.

**Physical Requirements**
- Long periods of standing and walking
- Frequent bending and twisting
- Manual and repetitive tasks
- High School or GED from an accredited school system or program is preferred
- 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced customer service role
- 1+ years of experience in a café environment

**Skills and Abilities**
- Excellent listening skills and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work under pressure, while maintaining a professional image at all times
- Work independently with little direct supervision
- Have a well-balanced concern for both task and people
- Have a genuine concern for needs of customers

**Work Conditions**
- Required to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Required at times to work with challenging customers and/or situations.
- Exposed to hot and cold environments.
- Exposed to loud noises and moving equipment.

**Physical Requirements**
- Long periods of standing and walking
- Frequent motions include bending, twisting, squatting, pushing, pulling, and reaching.
- Manual and repetitive tasks.
- On occasion, you may be required to lift up to 22.5 kg (50 lbs).
