Our hourly wages are based on a tried-and-true pay scale that is reviewed bi-annually and posted in every lockup to ensure transparency. Apprentice wages will be reviewed every 900 hours; therefore, you will never have to ask for a raise.

At Georgia Mechanical Systems Ltd., we believe in our apprentices and want them to have every opportunity to succeed. We reimburse the cost of schooling upon successful completion of the course and after 3 months of return to work.

We pride ourselves on having multiple Journeyman on-site to ensure you have constant guidance and support throughout your workday. We believe in providing training in facets of plumbing, heating and mechanical to ensure at the end of your apprenticeship you are a well-rounded Journeyman with knowledge to further your own career.

**Responsibilities**:

- Determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems.
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing fixtures and systems in various settings.
- Utilize your skills to cut openings in walls and floors, measure, cut, bend, and thread pipes, and join pipes using various methods.
- Conduct thorough tests to ensure the integrity of piping systems.
- Install various types of heating and cooling systems.
- Install and commission major mechanical equipment.

Types of projects you could work on with Georgia Mechanical Systems Ltd., we do full mechanical contracting for new construction, industrial, institutional, commercial, and large-scale residential projects.

- The Welcher (Port Coquitlam)
- IEM (Surrey)
- George Town 2 (Surrey)
- The Melrose (Surrey)
