The Role
The Finance Business Partner will support financial planning, reporting, and analytics to help eSentire operate more effectively. This role is ideal for a rising finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to grow through hands-on experience and collaboration.

**Responsibilities**:

- Analyze financial transactions and provide variance analysis vs. forecast and budget.
- Assist in monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and strategic planning using Adaptive Insights.
- Develop actionable financial reports and dashboards for leadership and operational teams.
- Support the annual budget planning process and monitor budget compliance.
- Approve purchase requisitions and surface financial risks and opportunities.
- Recommend improvements to financial and operational reporting.
- Build reports from single or multiple systems and ensure data accuracy.
- Leverage AI-enabled reporting and analytics tools to streamline processes and improve data-driven decision-making.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to improve transactional processes and reporting clarity.
- Train end users on dashboards and reporting tools.
- Support leadership and cross-functional teams with special projects.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline.
- 1-3 years of experience in financial planning & analysis or related finance roles, ideally within a growing or tech-oriented environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present financial data clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
- Solid business acumen, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn.
- Familiarity with financial systems such as NetSuite, Adaptive Insights, Salesforce, and Power BI is an asset.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Adaptive Insights or budget planning software
- Experience with SaaS and technology organizations
- Microsoft Excel skills
