The Fitness Advisor is a key role that sits within our management team. We are looking for someone who can lead the sales and retention department at Fit Factory Fitness. This role is also responsible for overseeing the development of the memberships, leading sales and collaborating with other departments. This role requires strong leadership and sales skills to meet targets and ensure the growth of our memberships.

**Role and Responsibilities**
- Oversee all aspects of membership growth, service and engagement
- Oversee Marketing & Communication efforts as it relates to the members and prospective members
- Work collaboratively with marketing & communications teams to develop effective messaging and identify appropriate channels for prospecting new members
- Meet goals for new member acquisition and member retention
- Proactively provide analysis of membership-related trends and communicate information with the team
- Lead research in deepening member value and engagement
- Ensure efficient and effective systems for membership
- Ensure superior customer service
- Make recommendations for benefits relevant to specific membership categories
- Track performance metrics/ membership statistics and present reports as required
- Contribute to the management team to provide feedback and suggestions for overall facility growth

**Qualifications/ Pre-requisites**
- Minimum 2 years in fitness industry
- Experience in the Mindbody system would be an asset but not required
- Strong Organizational Skills
- Passionate about health and fitness
- Minimum 2 years work experience in customer service and sales
- Proficiency with Google Drive, Excel and Word
- Previous sales experience in the health & fitness industry strongly recommended
- Strong work ethic, integrity, and professional demeanor
- Must have excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills and must be able to interact with all levels of guests in a professional and cordial manner.
- Must have flexible shift availability including evenings, weekends and holidays. Due to the cyclical nature of the fitness industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the facility. In addition, attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings is required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $16.00-$30.00 per hour
