Role Mandate:
**Shoppers Drug Mart Specialty Health Network** is hiring a **Manager, Strategy.**

**Reporting to the Senior Manager, Strategy & Planning,**you will be responsible for helping drive and maintain special projects across the business unit. Working cross-functionally across SHN and the enterprise, you will work with business leads to help drive strategic initiatives. You will work closely with SHN’s team on all aspects of strategy development - from conceptualization to resource / financial planning to execution to benefits realization.

What You’ll Do:

- Act as a strategic thought leader, providing data-driven insights and identifying opportunities to drive sales, share, and improve business outcomes.
- Support the development of SHN-specific strategies and associated tactics that improve our competitive position and accelerate financial performance.
- Lead the Intake & Prioritization review process. Conduct in-depth analysis focused on identifying capacity, strategic alignment, optimization opportunities and driving strong governance to ensure strategies are resourced and executed on time.
- Track and evaluate SHN strategies, determine drivers of outperformance, and diagnose underperformance to help drive initiatives forward.
- Develop tangible metrics to measure success of strategic initiatives ensuring performance is tracking towards targets and translating results into actionable, strategic next steps.
- Create reports and conduct data set analysis surrounding initiative results; engage data driven insights and financial impact with SHN and Senior Leadership.
- Design and develop program/project presentations to key executive stakeholders within the business.
- Support and execute key initiatives from the SHN annual plan, leading analytics and strategy development in conjunction with internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with SHN teams to ensure SHN strategies are developed to support the SHN Strategy plan.

What You’ll Need:

- Minimum 3 years previous work experience required. Retail, corporate strategy, healthcare, management consulting experience strongly preferred.
- Post-secondary undergraduate (finance, economics, commerce, engineering) required.
- Strong financial and analytical skills as demonstrated by the ability to conduct and interpret both qualitative and quantitative research / insights
- Excellent communication skillsand presentation skills. Including synthesizing large concepts to key insights for Executive updates.
- Comfortable with data analytics and the ability to derive actionable insights is required.
- Detail oriented and strong time management skills.
