**What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)**:

- Provide compassionate companionship and engaging social interaction.
- Assist clients with personal care (e.g., bathing, dressing, grooming) as needed.
- Support with mobility and transfers.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding.
- Perform light housekeeping duties (e.g., tidying, laundry).
- Assist with errands and grocery shopping.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Offer respite support for family caregivers.
- Engage clients in enriching activities (e.g., reading, games, gentle walks).
- Observe and report any changes in client condition or concerns to the agency.

**What We're Looking For**:

- Relevant experience in caregiving or support roles (e.g., personal care, elder care, disability support).
- Current Continuing Care Assistant (CCA) or Personal Support Worker (PSW) certification is a strong asset and may qualify for a higher pay rate.
- Demonstrated compassion, patience, and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to varying client needs.
- Access to reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (preferred).
- Must successfully complete a criminal record check and vulnerable sector check.
