Minimum of 2 years working as a _**Retail Field Sales Representative**_ and comfortable working with retail clients.

Valid full G driver’s license and clean driving record.

Strong track record at increasing product sales and improving merchandising in a retail environment.

Excellent at building and maintaining strong relationships with retail clients.

Very familiar working with sales data and market insights to influence retailer’s decision to stock or promote products.

Familiar at executing a national or local promotion successfully.

Experienced at conducting a retail price audit.

Experienced working with retailers in securing shelf space and executing a promotion.

Strong organizational skills as you will be covering a large geographical territory (Calgary and surrounding area in Alberta - Edmonton, Medicine Hat, Red Deer, Lethbridge etc.). Overnight stays may be required. Would need to plan and prioritize your store visits efficiently.

Excellent at balancing/managing multiple retail accounts while ensuring each receives the attention it needs.

Above average knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams etc.

**Retail Field Sales Representative (Perm, FT) - Calgary and surrounding area in Alberta**

**Territory**:Calgary and surrounding area in Alberta (Edmonton, Medicine Hat, Red Deer, Lethbridge etc.)

**Overview**

Reporting to the _**National Field Sales Manager**_ this role is responsible for providing sales merchandising support to all Burnbrae Farms’ retail clients in Calgary and surrounding area including **Edmonton, Medicine Hat, Red Deer, Lethbridge etc.**

**Duties/Responsibilities**:

- Calling on assigned retail accounts to ensure all authorized products are on shelf and properly displayed and merchandized.
- Developing all assigned accounts relative to sales volume, product distribution, space allocation and customer service objectives, including Independent account management
- Through in store visits, identifying changing customer needs through a constant review of the highest selling products
- Selling and executing national and local promotions and soliciting placement of incremental POS
- Utilizing fact-based selling tools and marketing information to secure and enhance new and existing product listing
- Maximizing in-store space allocated to Burnbrae products through pre-arranged agreements or by negotiating incremental space and displays at store level
- Conducting retail price audits monthly or as needed
- Providing updates on objectives and identifying any issues or opportunities pertaining to merchandising
- Providing promotional and educational material to accounts
- Assisting with store openings, demos and trade shows
- Building and maintaining high-trust relationships with customers

**QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE**:

- Minimum 1 to 2 years relevant experience; CPG and/or retail grocery an asset
- Knowledge of retail sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques
- Valid full G driver’s license and clean driving record
- Able to work independently while still working within a team environment
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Able to cover large geographical area within Alberta, overnight stays maybe required.
- Above average knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams etc.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, stretch, engage in repetitive motions, push, pull and carry items for a short distance. Including the ability to lift more than 10kg.
- Ability to work flexible hours and extended hours at times
