**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Graduate from an approved Health Information Management/Administrator Program
- Active member in good standing with the Canadian Health Information Management Association (CHIMA)
- Two years recent experience in ICD-O/ICD-10 coding
- Two years related experience in the past four years in an outpatient Oncology environment
Strong time management, organizational, communication and judgment skills with a high degree of confidentiality
- Demonstrated ability to work calmly and effectively, using excellent interpersonal skills within an interdisciplinary team-oriented environment, anticipate potential problems/conflicts and implement appropriate actions
- Demonstrated time management, prioritization and independent work skills
- Demonstrated knowledge and compliance with confidential requirements under the Niagara Health System Privacy Policy
- Demonstrated professional interactions with patients, public, colleagues and medical staff, demonstrating Patient Client Centered Care
- Familiarity with general office equipment
- Must be available for all shifts, vacation replacement, sick time and paid holidays
- Travel to other NH sites required
- Proficiency in both official languages (English and French) will be considered an asset.
- Consistent and regular attendance required
- Vaccines (COVID-19 and others) are a new hire requirement of the job unless you have an exemption based on medical or on a ground pursuant to the Ontario Human Rights Code
