The best kitchens turn to Walker Environmental for progressive and efficient management of their kitchen residuals.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for pumping grease trap as well as all aspects relating to drain flushing, grease trap repairs, and grease trap installations.

You will work 44 hours per week, early morning shift which could include the odd afternoon shift depending on the need. We offer a competitive hourly rate of $25.04 with applicable shift premiums, annual raises and overtime is paid at time and a half after 44hrs. We also offer wellness subsidies, a quarterly bonus program, health benefits, a pension plan and your uniform and tools will be provided.

To carry out job duties, you must be physically fit and able to perform the work involved; you must be a team player and have the ability to lift 50lbs.

You are perfect for this position because you are mechanically inclined, flexible, and focused on serving customers. You have strong communication skills, you are analytical and can problem solve. You also have a basic understanding of plumbing.

Work experience and other requirements:
Experience with power and hand tools required to assist with performing drain flushing, grease trap repairs and grease trap installations.
- Clean Criminal Background check
- Clean Drug test
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Ontario G drivers license
- Prior experience with pipe flushing, grease trap flushing and/or pipe snaking. Skills/Qualifications:

- Effective written and oral communication skills (ability to speak, read and write English)
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Knowledge of MTO regulations
