Bather Roles and Responsiblities:
**Responsibilities**:

- Bathe and groom pets according to client specifications and breed standards
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and ensuring their satisfaction
- Handle and restrain pets safely and securely during bathing and grooming procedures
- Clean and maintain bathing areas, grooming tools, and equipment
- Assist with other tasks as needed, such as nail trims, ear cleaning, and teeth brushing

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a pet bather or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Ability to handle pets of all sizes and temperaments with care and compassion
- Strong attention to detail to ensure pets are properly cleaned and groomed
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with pet owners in a friendly and professional manner
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects (e.g., large dogs)
- Knowledge of different dog breeds, coat types, and grooming techniques is a plus

Dog Daycare Attendant:

- About 50% of the job will be to supervise, monitor and manage active play in the dog daycare, including:

- Picking-up and cleaning-up after dogs,
- Walking and exercising the dogs,
- Feeding and administering medication to the dogs,
- Keeping accurate logs and records of dog behaviour and activities,
- About 50% of the job will be to tidy, clean, vacuum, mop, and disinfect the facility

**This job is **_**PHYSICALLY and MENTALLY DEMANDING**_**. **Working with dogs in an off-leash daycare environment requires employees to pay attention to detail, be quick-thinking and have physical endurance (to walk, lift and clean). This job may not be suitable for all people.

**PLEASE NOTE* **Punctual and regular work. Reliability is a must when working with live animals. Last-minute shift cancellations are not possible when working with live animals. Applicants must be willing and ready to work on all major holidays.

Busy pet grooming salon & dog daycare looking for mature, energetic and reliable person with a strong work ethic to bathe dogs and help keep the salon running smoothly. Typical day includes bathing/blow drying pets, assisting groomers, brushing dogs, preparing the dog for their hair cut, tending to dogs/cleaning up their messes, cutting bandanas and cleaning work areas. This is a position for a dog & cat bather (PROFESSIONAL BATHER) and will have some shifts as a daycare attendant to cover shifts when needed

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: From $17.00 per hour
