**MontHill Golf & Country Club **is seeking a full-time, year-round, professional, **high-quality Line Cook with 3-5 years of experience** - ($18-$25/hr depending on experience). We invite you to join our team of passionate, devoted, staff committed to providing our guests with professionally exceptional, memorably enjoyable, personalized dining experiences in our Fore Seasons Restaurant, Big Pete's Steakhouse, and elegant Banquet Halls. We also have a fully licensed clubhouse. You will be joining a collaborative energized team, with a bi-weekly tip-out sharing policy.

**Responsibilities Include**:
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
- Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces).
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
- Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef's instructions.
- Clean up station and take care of leftover food.
- Stock inventory appropriately.
- Ensure that food is prepared with high quality and in a timely fashion.
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
**Requirements**:
- A minimum of 2 years’ proven line cooking experience, including experience as a Line Chef, Restaurant Cook or Prep Cook.
- Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks, Aptitude for multi-tasking.
- Familiar with industry's best practices.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Must be able to work cooperatively and efficiently in a team.
- Culinary school diploma, Food Safety Certification Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent - **considered** **an asset but not required**
