**Job Description: Logistics Manager**:
Reports To: Director of Warehouse & Logistics

**Role Overview**:
As Logistics Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end supply chain operations for our retail apparel business, ensuring timely and cost-effective movement of goods across our network. In this critical role, you will optimize inventory flow, coordinate vendor relationships, and support seasonal retail demands—especially during high-volume periods such as Stampede and the holidays. You will be expected to proactively address logístical challenges, adapt quickly to changing market conditions, and develop contingency plans for supply chain disruptions. Maintaining strong relationships with transportation providers and demonstrating attention to detail are essential, as is a commitment to continuous improvement. Your efforts will help drive operational excellence and support the company’s growth objectives.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Operational Leadership**:

- Oversee and manage all daily logistics operations, including scheduling and tracking inbound/outbound shipments, arranging inventory transfers between warehouse and stores, and coordinating order fulfillment with vendors and suppliers.
- Develop and maintain relationships with transportation providers, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely, cost-effective delivery of goods.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as delivery timelines, inventory accuracy, and cost efficiency, utilizing data to identify trends, address bottlenecks, and improving overall supply chain performance.
- Respond proactively to logístical challenges, such as supply chain disruptions or unexpected surges in demand, by developing contingency plans and adjusting operational protocols as needed.

**Team Management**:

- Lead, mentor, and supervise warehouse and logistics staff to foster a culture of accountability, high performance, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure all staff adhere to established safety protocols and operational standards, conduct regular safety audits and provide ongoing safety education to minimize workplace incidents.
- Encourage open communication and collaboration among team members to streamline workflow and resolve issues efficiently.

**Inventory & Systems**:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records for all warehouse and store locations, employ regular cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations to eliminate discrepancies.
- Implement, manage, and continually refine logistics software tools to improve real-time inventory visibility, automate reporting, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Coordinate markdowns, inventory transfers, and seasonal stock adjustments to ensure optimal product assortment and availability in stores, particularly during high-volume periods such as Stampede and the holidays.
- Work with IT and systems vendors to troubleshoot issues, train staff on new technologies, and ensure seamless integration across platforms.

**Strategic Planning**:

- Forecast logistics needs based on promotional calendars, seasonal trends, and anticipated sales volumes, adjusting resources and schedules accordingly to meet demand.
- Partner with merchandising and field management teams to ensure timely delivery and availability of products, supporting new product launches, promotional events, and restocking efforts.
- Identify, evaluate, and implement process improvements across logistics operations to reduce costs, enhance service levels, and drive operational excellence.
- Stay informed of industry’s best practices and emerging technologies, recommending strategic changes to maintain a competitive edge in supply chain management.

**Qualifications**:

- 5+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably in retail apparel.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and logistics software.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, seasonal retail environment.
- Passion for western lifestyle and alignment with Lammle’s brand values.
- 2-3 years minimum WMS experience
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office platform experience
