**Job Summary**:
Reporting to the Land Code Manager, the permanent Big House Caretaker ensures the smooth operation and upkeep of the Big House, including managing event space and kitchen bookings. Responsibilities include maintenance, pre
- and post-booking inspections, and policy enforcement.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and perform minor repairs. Ensure cleanliness and functionality of event spaces and kitchen.
- Safety and Compliance: Maintain safety systems and ensure adherence to policies.
- Policy Enforcement**: Enforce Big House policies for event space and kitchen use. Address policy violations professionally.
- Booking Management: Handle bookings for the event space and kitchen, update schedules, and coordinate setup needs.
- Pre-Booking Inspections: Prepare spaces by ensuring they are clean, stocked, and ready for events.
- Post-Booking Inspections: Check and clean spaces after events, report damages, and ensure proper equipment return.
- Guest Relations: Provide timely and professional service to event organizers and guests. Address concerns and requests.
- Administrative Duties: Maintain records of maintenance, bookings, and inspections. Manage inventory of supplies.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience: Experience in building maintenance or facility management preferred. Event space or kitchen management experience a plus.
- Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills; attention to detail.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs, perform manual tasks, and work in various conditions.

**Working Conditions**:

- Hours may be irregular due to nature of the position.
