At Rexall, Canada’s leader in Pharmacy Healthcare, the Registered Pharmacy Technician (R.Ph.T.) reports to the Pharmacy Manager and is responsible for the technical functions of filling prescriptions and assisting with the related administration under the direct supervision of the pharmacist providing exceptional customer service.

**Responsibilities**:

- Preparation of Non-Sterile Compounds in our compounding lab
- Supervision of Pharmacy Assistants and other staff in preparation of compounds
- Management of Sharepoint site for orders from other stores and preparing for shipping
- Communication with other Rexall stores placing orders to provide timely information around quotes and orders
- Abide by approved prescriptions, duties and responsibilities per relevant College of Pharmacists
- Effectively communicate with both external and internal contacts, in addition to developing and maintaining professional relationships with local health care professionals, suppliers, allied health businesses, and private insurance payers

**Knowledge, skills and experience**:

- Licensed and Registered with the College of Pharmacists as Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPhT) in good standing
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Team player and leadership skills
- Working knowledge of Sharepoint and Excel an asset
- Experience is an asset, not a requirement
- Self-starting and independent, as well as strong motivation to succeed
- Discretion in handling confidential matters
