- Job Summary As a member of the robotics team and under the direction of the department supervisor, the robotics technician, in addition to supporting production, participates in team projects and priorities in the design, programming, installation, problem solving and improvement of robotic processes. Specifically, he/she will: - Participate and collaborate in the movement, positioning, installation and assembly of automated equipment and components;
- Evaluate, analyze and solve electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic problems of automated equipment according to his/her qualifications;
- Participate in the start-up of equipment and ensure compliance with the required functionality and performance;
- Depending on his/her qualifications, the robotics technician may also be called upon to design electrical diagrams (computer assisted) and establish the list of equipment required for the various projects;
- Work with the design team to provide feedback and suggestions for process improvements;
