**We're looking for an RVT/VT to add to our growing independently owned hospital, Bellamy Lawrence Animal Hospital (3310 Lawrence Ave., Scarborough, ON, M1H 1A7)**

**The Role and Duties**
- Assist veterinarians in performing diagnostics and medical procedures (some surgeries as needed)
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor and record vital signs and patient condition.
- Handle and restrain animals during examinations and treatments.
- Maintain a clean and organized treatment area.
- Educate pet owners on proper care and treatment protocols.
- Assist in maintaining patient records.
- Collaborate with other team members to provide excellent patient care.

**What we're looking for**:

- Completion of a veterinary technician program preferred
- Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic
- Knowledge of IDEXX laboratory procedures and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Avimark experience is a plus

**Salary**: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- veterinary technician: 1 year (preferred)
