Our staff members and patients alike are never "just another number." Instead, we take advantage of our smaller size by developing and nurturing long-term relationships not only with each other, but with our wonderful patients who so often say they love to come to their dental appointments to be greeted by the same friendly faces they have gotten to know and trust over the years. **DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES - DENTAL ASSISTANT** - Assisting one dentist - Taking dental impressions (if Level II), records and x-rays - Labwork - Reprocessing of dental instruments and equipment and following and maintaining relevant IPAC protocols and records - Participating in a wide range of dental procedures and offerings including root canal treatments, dentures, crown & bridge, restorative, etc. - Welcoming, seating and dismissing patients - Liasing with dental equipment and repair personnel - Engaging with patients and fostering a safe, caring and friendly environment **REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE** - **HARP**Certification - **Level I or Level II** Dental Assistant Certification - Successful completion of a Dental Assisting course - Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role would be an asset but not absolutely necessary for fast learners - Friendly and approachable - Confident, positive, and self-motivated with a true passion for dentistry - A great chairside manner... a "people person" **THE HOURS** - Mondays to Thursdays 8:30 am to 5:15 pm - Fridays 8:30 am to 2:15 pm **THE IDEAL CANDIDATE** - Are you looking for a position with a **close-knit team of coworkers** who truly love what they do? - Are you **friendly, hardworking** and **organized**? - Do you enjoy the benefits of working in a **smaller, more personalized office** atmosphere as opposed to for a large dental corporation?
