About the Role
This is a global role which will serve in our Business Information and Reporting team as an integral part of the Client Analysis and Reporting Team, reporting to the Manager - Client Analysis and Reporting.
Primary responsibilities include:
Financial Analysis & Reporting
- Oversee the preparation and analysis of client revenue reports, reconciliations, budgets, forecasts, and client profitability assessments.
- Accurately depict and communicate financial performance to stakeholders
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, leveraging visualization tools such as Power BI and data from a Data Warehouse.
- Develop automated financial and non-financial reports and dashboards.
- Understand all revenue-related transactions across business units, ensuring they are accurately reflected in reports.
Team Leadership & Development
- Supervise, train, and mentor the client analysis and reporting analysts to enhance their knowledge, skills and performance.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth within the team.
Business Partnership & Stakeholder Management
- Act as a key point of contact for revenue-related topics and KPIs, providing timely insights and responses to business queries.
- Collaborate with other finance teams to support month-end closing activities and financial reporting requirements.
- Work closely with finance project leads to support the implementation of new financial systems, processes, and accounting policies.
Process Improvement & Special Initiatives
- Lead process re-engineering activities and transformation within the finance team.
- Propose innovative and unconventional methods to improve operational effectiveness, reporting and analysis in line with long term strategic direction of the company.
- Steer initiatives in improving the operational systems, processes and policies in support of business monitoring - specifically, support effective management reporting, information flow and management and organisational planning.
- Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of financial and operational performance measurement through improvements to each function as well as coordination and communication between support and regional business functions.
What You Bring
- An internationally recognized accounting designation (e.g. CPA, ACA, ACMA or ACCA) with a minimum of 4 years’ post-qualified experience and at least 4 years’ audit experience, preferably in the Big 4.
- Proven management skills relating to training and development of the team, which includes various levels of professionals.
- High proficiency in financial analysis, particularly in revenue, with advanced knowledge in analytic BI tools and excel.
- Highly organized, efficient, and have project management skills in order to lead planned initiatives.
- Adhere to policies and procedures at all times and act in a manner required to protect the sensitive data.
- A similar managerial role at an equivalent level for at least 1-3 year(s) would be an asset.
- Strong communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.
