**Job Overview**:
Mathnasium is a leading provider of math tutoring services, helping students of all ages and abilities develop a deeper understanding of math and build lasting confidence. We are looking for enthusiastic, talented, and dedicated individuals to join our team as Math Instructors at our **Whitby** location. If you love math and enjoy working with students to help them achieve their full potential, we want to hear from you

**Duties**
- Teach students in a one-on-one or small group setting, using the Mathnasium Method to improve their understanding of math concepts.
- Customize learning plans for students based on their individual strengths, weaknesses, and learning pace.
- Foster a positive, encouraging, and motivating learning environment that helps students build confidence and enthusiasm for math.
- Communicate regularly with parents and the Center Director about student progress.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your teaching skills and knowledge.

**Experience**
- Strong proficiency in math, including arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and calculus (depending on the grade levels you’ll be teaching).
- A passion for working with children and helping them succeed academically.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to explain complex math concepts in a clear, concise, and engaging manner.
- Experience in tutoring or teaching is a plus, but not required—training will be provided.
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree or coursework in math or education is a plus.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
