Description:
As a Repair Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, identifying parts needed, and repairing hardware issues on customers’ laptops and tablets. You will also be expected to meet set KPI and quality standards.
**Responsibilities**:
- Receive assigned product from the receiving team
- Visually inspect product's physical condition
- Troubleshoot defective product, order parts from warehouse inventory, and replace defective parts
- Clearly document process to explain repair resolutions, and prepare reports upon completion of repair
- Run required tests to ensure all functions are within specification
- Re-install OS to original condition, activate MS Windows, and execute QC test by using Windows Test Program
- Return defective parts to the warehouse
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of computer Repair Experience, disassembling and reassembling laptops, desktop computers, and tablets
- Technicians A+ Certified is an asset
- Able to quickly diagnose hardware issues
- Able to differentiate between a hardware issue and a software issue
- Able tear down and rebuild laptops and desktops quickly and neatly
- Willing to work in a team environment, share knowledge, and creative solutions
- Required Language: English. Cantonese/Mandarin will be a plus.
