Eurocan Pet Products is located in New Hamburg, a small town near Kitchener, Ontario. With over 220,000 sq. feet of human-grade manufacturing, packaging, and shipping facilities, Eurocan has been producing high-quality pet products with the highest safety standards in mind for over 28 years. Our brands' chews and treats are CFIA and FDA inspected.

We have several permanent, full time (40-44 hrs/week), day shift openings available.

How you will contribute to our packaging team:

- Perform manual lifting, stacking, loading and unloading (up to approx. 50lbs)
- Assist in the direct handling of products
- Participate in the setup, takedown and sanitation of all parts and equipment when required
- Working with, and in close proximity to sanitizing chemicals
- Following good manufacturing practices
- Understand products and packaging specifications
- Consistently hand-pack products with an eye for detail
- Ensure labels and production codes on all products including case codes are correct and documented
- Meeting all food safety and quality standards, within the scope of this position
- Perform other duties as assigned

You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:

- You are physically able to stand for 8 hours and perform repetitive movements
- You already have experience in manufacturing, an asset but not required
- You learn quickly and you are responsible
- You like working as a team and communicate well with your colleagues
- You’re a reliable team member
- You are legally allowed to work in Canada
