We are looking for a Dairy herdsperson to join our team at Glen Park Holsteins. We are a 110 cow dairy using milking robots. We are looking for a part-time herdsperson to do some chores and monitor the health of the animals. There is lots of opportunity to learn and gain experience in a variety of areas

**Responsibilities**:

- Bottle feeding calves
- feeding young stock
- assisting with calving as required
- basic animal veterinary care/treatments
- monitoring animal health and treating as required
- skid steer work/cleaning pens
- cleaning stalls/fetching cows late for milking
- recording cow health data entries in computer system
- opportunities to work with veterinarians and our nutritionist

Animal/dairy experience is an asset but not required.

Part-time position
- 2-3 days a week (16-24 hours). At least 1 weekend day is required.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 24 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
