The Beacon Pub & Eatery is looking for additional door support on Friday and Saturday nights only.

The position of Door Host plays a vital role at the business, as often this is the first experience that guests have with the company. A Door Host must exude a confident, professional and warm welcome to anyone that inquires about the venue.

Some of the tasks you would be required to complete as a Door Host involve, but are not limited to:

- Conduct ID checks in compliance with the Liquor License requirements.
- Regularly complete headcounts in accordance with the legal capacity of all service areas within the Beacon.
- Provide updates to the Manager on Duty regarding capacity levels, ensuring that communication remains consistent throughout your shift.
- Monitor guests throughout your shift and the premises, and being aware of any potential issues that may arise whilst liaising with the Manager on Duty/ Bartender, etc. should there be any concerns.
- Provide conflict resolution and support to both guests and employees when required.
- Ensure that Serving It Right standards are adhered to at all times and notifying appropriate members of management should you notice anything concerning.
- Communicate with the Manager on Duty and Kitchen teams in regard to flow, large tables or potential large groups arriving.
- Take ownership of managing the Door, ensuring that the area remains tidy and ask for assistance when required.
