**Business Solutions Specialist - Web Applications (12-month contract)**:
**Key Duties**:
- Works on complex problems that often require creative and possibly customized solutions.
- Designs, develops, implements, and maintains reports using third-party reporting and business intelligence tools such as Power BI and Crystal Reports.
- Serves as backup to other Business Solutions Specialists and their identified responsibilities.
**Qualifications/Skills**:
- Completion of a University Degree or College Diploma in computer science, information systems, systems analysis, programming, or a related field.
- Proven experience with web technologies such as Oracle WebLogic, Microsoft IIS, Apache Tomcat, HTML, ASP, Javascript, PHP, CSS, SharePoint, Power Apps.
- Experience with business and technical requirements analysis, business process modeling/mapping, and data normalization.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills; comfortable with leading meetings and group training sessions.
- Ability to provide a current Criminal Reference Check that is satisfactory to the Town of Ajax upon hire.
**What we Offer to Staff**:
- **Rate of Pay**: $46.28 - $57.86 per hour.
- **Hours of Work**: This 12-month contract is a non-union position that works 35 hours per week. The hours of work are Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
