**What you'll do**:
As a Starbucks Lead Barista, you will create the unique Starbucks Experience for our customers through excellent service and expertly handcrafted products, while in a one of the kind hotel. You will also be responsible for helping with supervision and direction of our baristas. Our Starbucks is an energetic, supportive store environment where you will have the ability to master your food & beverage craft, and meet new people every day. Are you up for the challenge?

**The responsibilities of this position include**:

- Must be able to work as a Barista when needed and lead by example.
- Greets and connects with customers providing excellent service.
- Discovers customer needs and appropriately suggests products with every customer to enhance service and meet sales goals.
- Assists customers in the selection and purchase of specialty coffee beverages, whole bean and merchandise sales.
- Prepares a variety of customer beverage orders such as espresso drinks, blended beverages and Coffee of the Day as per Starbucks standards.
- Supervises daily operation.
- Maintains Marriott and Starbucks service and product standards at all times.
- Contributes to store goals for increasing sales and improving profit.
- Records and accounts for store funds while running a shift.
- Ensures all cash handling and cash register functions are performed in an accurate and consistent manner.
- Performs and directs others to complete cleaning and operational tasks in accordance with the store Duty Rosters.
- Follows and directs others to follow standards for merchandising, stocking, rotating and storing all products.
- Assists Store Manager with development and training of new Baristas.
- Assists Store Manager with inventory controls/counting as well as product ordering.
- Follows all Marriott policies and procedures as outlined in hotel manual.
- Other duties as assigned.

**What you'll offer us**:

- Must successfully complete the Advanced Starbucks Training Program.
- **Supervisory experience** in a similar environment an asset.
- Minimum of one year experience in **Food & Beverage/Starbucks.**
- Previous experience in a Starbucks or similar environment an asset.
- Excellent computer skills; knowledge of Excel, Word and Micros [preferred]
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment, multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- **Must be available to work various shifts (morning, day, evening, weekends, holidays) and cannot limit availability.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.20-$21.88 per hour
