Westhill Innovation is looking for a Production Team member to support operations in our production facility.

We’d like you to have stamina and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. You should be able to concentrate on performing your tasks and commit to safety rules. If you fit this description, and you’re also interested in doing important work, we’d like to meet you.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Works under the direction of the Operations Manager

Manufactures composites and laminates as required by production schedules

Performs all the required duties which could include: general carpentry, painting, materials movement, washing, cleaning of the work place, anywhere on the premises

May be asked to perform light carpentry, metal working or minor plumbing tasks

Operates forklift and hand truck as required, in the handling of raw materials, equipment and finished product (will train if required).

May assist in the preparation of large scale and lab scale samples (i.e. cutting and prepping of composites for testing)

SKILLS:
Ability to understand and pass the requirements of H&S and WHMIS

Ability to understand quality controls methods

Ability to use various power tools and have practical hands-on skills

Good communication skills to deliver valuable teamwork

Able to follow and execute instructions

Accurate, patient, careful, responsible, quick and alert

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
