We are currently searching for a full-time Junior Accounting Clerk to join our Saskatoon head-office and accounting team.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Assist in day-to-day accounts payable functions including but not limited to:

- Matching vendor invoices to purchase orders
- Ensuring invoices are coded to the appropriate general ledger accounts
- Assist in day-to-day account receivable functions
- Process banking transactions
- Perform account reconciliations
- Generate accounting and financial reports
- Assist with the preparation of month end and year end working papers
- Analyze transactional data and prepare journal entries, as appropriate
- Recommend improvements in accounting procedures and systems
- Ensure compliance with financial polices and regulations
- Provide administrative support to the Finance Department

**Skills, Experience and Education**:

- Post-secondary education related to accounting
- Highly detail-oriented and organized
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Desire to learn and enhance accounting skills and knowledge
- Function well in a team-oriented environment
