Finance Summer Student

Our team is seeking fresh talent excited to get their hands dirty, build processes, integrate systems and challenge the status quo. Using their financial skills, we want this student to enable our diverse group of cosmetic surgeons, dermatologists, and medical spa clinicians with the tools and information they need to successfully grow their practices.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Set up new vendors including their EFT information and keep the vendor master list updated
- Obtain approvals for AP invoices, code and enter AP invoices
- Monthly customer deposit reconciliation and running sales reports
- Assist with credit card reconciliations: code credit card expenses, follow up for missing invoices/receipts
- Assist with account reconciliations (cash clearing, deposits schedule, AP subledger to ledger)
- Day-to-day processing of various accounting and operational transactions to ensure company finances and supporting documents are maintained accurately
- Monthly closing, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Provide assistance with other financial analysis/reporting as required
**Qualifications**
- Enrolled in an Accounting program at a recognized post-secondary institution
- Working knowledge of full-cycle accounting and/or auditing
- Exposure to all areas of balance sheet, profit & loss
- Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (ERP)
- Nice-to-have familiarity with Quickbooks/Sage, or other major ERP’s
