**Job Duties**:

- Consult with and advise clients with respect to size, color, design and placement of body art
- Design original tattoos taking into account client’s ideas
- Design original tattoos; Repairs and cover-ups;
- Use a demographer to permanently pigment the client’s skin with chemical dyes
- Clean and sterilize tattoo equipment and work areas;
- Maintain health and safety procedures.

**Skills requirements**(includes education and work experience)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the tattooing industry
- Experience with color tattoos, and black and grey;
- Experience with color realism;
- Experience in designing tattoos;
- Artistic background (portfolio);
- Experience with neo-traditional style and Asian art;
- High School diploma

**Terms of employment**: Full time/permanent; 30 - 40 hours per week.

**Language requirements**:English

**Wage and Benefits**: $18.00 per hour; personal days and vacation days available

**Location of Work**: 294A Danforth Avenue, Toronto, ON M4K 1N6

**Salary**: $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Tattooing: 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Massage Therapist Certification (preferred)
