**JOB SUMMARY**:
**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Drive and operate 10-23-ton boom truck.
- Drive tractor trailers and load equipment.
- Load materials using hoisting and rigging techniques.
- Secure loads in a safe manner for transportation on highways and in urban centers.
- Move equipment and materials.
- Able to work in physically demanding situations and all-weather conditions.
- Train apprentice boom truck operators, in accordance with AIT Blue Book.
- Complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Adapt to change easily.
- Help with tasks as they get assigned and able to pivot tasks on short notice.
- Providing manual labour around the shop or out in the field as needed.
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Journeyman/women Boom Truck certification.
- Class 1 Driver's License.
- Manual transmission experience required.
- Ability to lift 50lbs.
- Three years of experience safely operating a boom crane truck up to 40 tons.
- Experience working on construction worksites.
- Experience standing street light poles an asset.
- Able to adapt to change quickly in a fast-paced environment.
