**What Will You Do?**
- Create and maintain a culture within Driver Service in which Drivers feel comfortable in addressing violations, training requirements and will use as a knowledge resource.
- Work with drivers regarding customer challenges. Collaborating with operations and Account managers to resolve issues.
- Maintain staffing level in Baden Driver Services as required. Alternate shift or start times to accommodate needs of training and meeting the requirements of three hundred plus, Baden drivers.
- Administer disciplinary action according to company policy up to termination. Work with the Terminal Manager or Director of Erb International Operations after written warning phase. All terminations must be approved by V.P. of HR.
- Ensure completion of all driver files with appropriate documentation.
- Answer HOS and E-log questions for drivers.
- Ensure Baden D&A program is being met as per policy.
- Review Log audits and Pro-Drive monthly performance.
- Complete Supervisor report of injury and follow up if an injured driver seeks medical attention.
- Ensure and assist, in weekly driver license checks (signing authority)
- Ensure appropriate paperwork is provided to Head Office regarding new hires, transfers, and terminations.
- Identify unsatisfactory terminal safety trends and create measures to address those trends. Ensure Baden DriveCam Coaching performance thresholds are being met.
- Plan department time off, and vacation schedules. Work in co-operation with operations ie. Bid runs, start times, business, etc.
- Responsible for ensuring department is following the recruitment and selection process. Coordinate with Corporate Transportation Training Manager to schedule company orientations hosted in Baden. Ensure appropriate training for Baden based drivers is being arranged with Driver Supervisor and Driver Trainer.
- Ensure driver payroll concerns are being addressed. Monitor all driver safety and compliance regulations and document violations when necessary.
- Investigate all equipment accidents in conjunction with the Director of Safety and Compliance. Inquire into motorist complaints, policy, and rule violations. Complete all necessary paperwork.
- Coordinate with Driver Supervisor and Driver Trainer to maintain and plan on road driver visits. Consisting of driver ride along, following up with consignee on driver performance, and addressing driver challenges.
- Assist in planning and co-ordination of driver safety meetings.
- All other duties as required

**Who Are We Looking For?**
- Valid class AZ licence with 3 plus years of verifiable experience
- At least a minimum of 5 years’ previous supervisory experience, preferably in the transportation industry.
- Fleet Signing Authority is a preference.
- Training/Certification in managing employee’s.
- Training/Certification in safety and training.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize work, sometimes with conflicting priorities
- Attention to detail, being organized and a positive team player
- Proven ability to analyse vehicle accidents and conduct proper investigation.
- Proven conflict resolution and negotiation skills
- Accuracy and confidentiality is a must
